So all you do is install mod manager, put all the mod files in their correct destinations, and run the mod manager?
So all you do is install mod manager, put all the mod files in their correct destinations, and run the mod manager?
Okay, so a month or two ago, I had a serious problem with Mod Manager which stopped me using mods. I PM'd it's creator for help, and he told me not to PM him, but post here. I post here, NO RESPONSE.
I stop using Mod Manager, things work again.
I have a new computer, and I NEED modmanager to work this time, I can't just not use it. And, after installing I.S. again, the same problem springs RIGHT up.
I'm sick of this, and I'm sick of being ignored. Even if people posted to tell me they hadn't a clue, It at least means I'm being damn well noticed.
Here is all the information

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
out of fear of being chased by an irritated mob, I hereby delete my question about checker boxes

Kein Sieg ohne Krieg...
sorry maniac, but i really dont know what the problem could be. wish I could help =/
The .exe refuses to load. It just gives the generic "This program has stopped functioning."
And I just installed the newest .NET framework, so I doubt that is the problem.
Any help is appreciated.
Make sure the ModManager folder has these three files in it.
Common.dll
ModManager.exe
ModManager.exe.config
Although I notice most of the files its complaining about are Windows system files.
@GrinningManiac- Unistall Empire TW, delete every file (including old mod files which annoyingly do not delete when Empire is uninstalled), reinstall Empire TW, install Mod Manager, install IS. That should do it, and delete the corrupt file thats giving you that error.
Hey here something that threw me for a loop - delete you user.empire and preferences script. I had to reinstall and couldn't figure out why.
If u never modify any ETW file,then just delete user.empire_script.txt and run mod manager again if u still want to load any mod......
If any ETW file been override or changed,try steam->verify integrity of game cache....
If this can't fix....then....go reinstall...
Hi!

Hi guys do you know what I can do when my game is installed in a different path then the one the mod manager uses? can it be changes? thx in advance
System specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9650 3.0Ghz
4GB Mushkin DDR2 PC2-1066
WD Raptor X WD1500AHFD 150GB SATA 16MB 10000RPM
Western Digital 1 Terabyte HD 7200RPM
Gainward PCI-E GeForce GTX280 1024MB 2x DVI
NorthQ NQ-4775-850-flex 850W modular PSU ATX2
Either modify or replace any original game file which created by CA.......
If u ever did anything above and didn't make a backup,then u need to reinstall.....
If u only use extend mod pack(Those mods that doesn't require to replace original game file),then
just simply delete user.empire_script.txt and run mod manager again~~
