I was so excited....
Wow! It's my first post.
I've been playing the vanilla version of M2TW for ages now and only today bought Kingdoms. I was so excited when I got home the first thing I did was start to install it.
To my dismay patch 1.2 on the disk won't install.It always says; "Can not launch the patch process." So for the next 4 hours...yes 4 HOURS I scoured the internet trying to find a solution to my dilemma. I tried uninstalling vanilla M2TW about five times and wiping all trace of M2TW off the computer five times. Nothing happened... I continued to search for a solution and most people say reinstall vanilla then install patch staright after. I did it FIVE times.
Then I decide I had to have something to eat. Then I came across someone on this forum that suggested (back in 2007) that someone else should install patch 1.1 and then skip 1.2 and install 1.3 from the cd. This is starting to get confusing. ANYWAY! I'm currently in the process of downloading 1.1 (16%...I've used up all my broad band for this month...dumb youtube) I just wanted to ask if I'm on the right track or if there is some other way to get Kingdoms installed.
I wouldn't usually beg but if you could see my desperation...anyway, I'm babbling.
Please help...
