If you haven't already seen it, there's a button in the "Game Options" menu when you click Escape in the game that let's you untick "Show CPU Movements", this will fast-forward every turn, and you'll not see what the CPU does, this GREATLY reduces the waiting time. And if you're afraid you might miss an attack on one of your troops or an enemy stepping into your lands, fear not, you'll be able to see things like that anyway.
If you've already tried this, I'm not sure I can help you.
I already tried that, but thanks for the advice![]()

I forgot to say, that problem start after 1730,before that was okay
wait for the patch, your sys is better than req
Check if you have any kind of scheduled scans (anti-virus programs) around 17:30.
Otherwise I can't help you much more, rather than telling you to wait for a patch.
Good luck!
if you are still seeing the units move around press spacebar & they move much quicker, other than that don't know![]()

you have to do the space bar thing every time you reload.
Do you mean after the *year* 1730 or 17:30pm?
Assuming you mean the year 1730...
Is that the same year for both campaigns GB & Mughal?
Are you playing a straight 60 turns without stopping in both cases?
Does the problem continue after you restart your system/game?
Do you have a save game before it goes wrong?

I have 2 game saves with the same problem. After some investigation it turned out to be a bug with a big pile of ships stacking up on top of a trading point on the Ivory coast. Spain, Maratha and Portugal all laying claim to the same spot with every single ship they had in that theatre. Not fighting for it just all stacking. A big bug that hopefully will be addressed.
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do unless you find the stack in your game and have the patience to go kill them all which could take forever as the turn time is now so high.

or get there before hand and kill them as they arrive
Not really an option at this point as my saved games are both already past the stage where the issue has started. To try and kill them would take at least 10-15 turns. At around 45 mins a turn. On top of that it would put me at war with 3 powerful allies thus breaking my campaign anyway. I can't help but wondering if I could simply turn off the trade theatres via a script until it is addressed.
I am now playing a new campaign but will hopefully be able to return to those in the future. One of them was in 1712 so no biggie but the other is in 1784 and will take a lot of hard work to replace and rebuild it the way it was.

It's the year 1730,not the time
Stil have the problem......![]()
close every thing running in the back ground. check all your processes to see what is useful and what is not. i close down everything except my antivirus. it should not take more than a matter of a few minutes in the worst case even in late game.
its probably cause ur using a dual core, i get through turns (even late campaign) in about 6 sec with my core 2 quad q6600
wow.... can you give some money please....has nothing to do with pc spec. i have a 9450 quad 4gb ddr3, that set me back 2k £ or 3k $ 1 year ago
My campaign turn is also taking too long , and the spanish faction takes the most time to complete its turn, so it has something to do with the ships and army stacks. Waiting for a fix.... but i doubt it. The most anticipated game for me and for thousands of fans, goes down on bugs((((( I miss shogun
