    Default Modding tools

    i was wondering what the best tools are for modding fthat would probably work for any game because i hate waiting for the producers to come out with thier own tools so can anybody help me out with this?

    Depends on what game and which aspect of it you want to mod.

    really all aspects wich is probably more than one program but i would like to see them all anyway and i was kind of hoping for a universal program that would work on all games

    You won't find anything like that I'm afraid. For RTW you need a paint program (PhotoShop, PaintShopPro, Gimp) for 2d stuff, 3dsMax for models and animations, Vircingetorix's modding tools for .idx and .pak files (see Downloads section). For M2, the 2d software is the same, modeling is done by Milkshape, animations by 3dsmax, and there are several tools by Knighterrant, alpaca etc that do various stuff. For ETW, things are still very much WIP, check the ongoing discussion in that forum. A packer/unpacker and a loc viewer etc have been released already (beta stage).
