Canada tip stop school attack

A student at Montreal's Concordia University says he was proud to play a role in helping to stop a school attack in the United Kingdom this week.

J.P. Neufeld, a 21-year-old Winnipeg native, alerted authorities on Tuesday after he stumbled across a posting on a web forum from a student claiming he was going to burn down his school in Norfolk, England.

"You don't make threats like that idly. Either it was a hoax or something he was going to go through with," Neufeld told CBC News.

Neufeld saw the threat when he was scrolling through a forum on the technology website newgrounds.com.

"I saw this thread started by this guy. It didn't seem serious at first. It said that today at 11:30 a.m. GMT I will commit violence and other forms of arson against my school [in Norfolk]. He had posted a picture of a gas can," Neufeld told CBC News.

He quickly looked up the phone number for police in the area and gave them a call via an internet telephone service.

"I said, 'Hi, I'm a guy from Canada. There is someone about to set fire to a school.' At that point I didn't know the name of the school or the guy. I gave the police the address of the thread," said Neufeld.

Eventually, police and other contributors to the web forum tracked down information about a suspect and narrowed down the school.

In less than an hour, police made an arrest.

The Norfolk Constabulary in the U.K. said in a media statement that a 16-year-old male student was taken into custody at Attleborough High School after he was found with a knife, matches and a canister containing a flammable liquid.

Jeffrey James Weise (August 8, 1988 – March 21, 2005) (AKA Regret) was a Flash artist who created two flash movies titled, “Clown” and “Target Practice”. He committed a school shooting on March 21, 2005 and committed suicide soon after.

Jeff had killed a total of nine people before shooting himself. He killed his grandpa and his girlfriend, a security guard and killed seven other people while injuring at least fifteen other people. All this happened on March 21, 2005 in Red Lake high school.
He used two handguns, a shotgun and a bullet proof vest he stole off the security guard he killed earlier as recovered by the police on during the aftermath of the shooting.

Well, to be fair wanting to set your school on fire isn't as bad as whipping out a gun and killing everyone you see. The fire would have been put out and kids evacuated. When I was in school, I thought about how cool it would be if a tornado came and destroyed it while we were asleep.

There was a kid a while back who shot his friend and a cop once and then committed suicide, he was a frequent (Not popular) artist on Newgrounds.
I blame the weed

i lived in the peg

taking a offroad tour to the recent german school shooting - the father of the boy who went to the psycho doc had 400 rounds of ammo and about 20 guns at home not properly locked aways. so i think in the german inccident the only person responsible and able to avoid this inccident would have been the father who should have locked his stuff away properly - especially with a psycho kid at home.
