    Default Burnout : Paradise

Anyone here playing the burnout games? I love the newest addition, it really looks sexy, graphics wise. And a lot of nice cars in it. What I like about the Burnout series is that it focuses on fun and gameplay, instead of hyper realism like the Gran Turismo even though I like the GT games, so no offence to GT fans

So why do you like/hate the game? Explain

Highest I got yet was about 1.7 million dollars, so yes, I am a beginner

I've noticed this game has come out on the PC I was thinking of getting it as it looked like quite a blast and for some reason reminded me or past favourites like Carmaggdon.

You should try it. Its very entertaining. But if you didn't like the "open world racing games" like NFS Underground 2, or if you didn't like the previous games in the series, you should not have too high expectations

Its a great game yes, but you really need to be into the arcade type of games. Don't go roffle when your car can go at a zillion miles per hour, smash other cars just like that and jump very far.

Never played them, but they sounds like they should give some entertain time.
The PC port was not bad either according to reviews.

I liked the destruction of cars in Carmageddon (damn, old game.) and Flatout's destruction derby.

"Take me down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the girls are pretty.."

That song seems to have been made for that game... I absolutely love it!

It's sad too, though, Paradise City seems to have so completely subverted the other Burnout games by sheer awesomeness, it's nearly impossible to play them again...

I only wish they had a revenge sorta thing like int Revenge, like if you're taken out in Marked Man multiple times by the same car or something that car starts driving around the map out of the events.

I never thought I'd enjoy just driving around pointlessly for a while in a game...
