Weird battle messages?

During battles, when you get the messages, I get weird messages. Like when a unit routs, I get a message saying they flee like "feeble romans". and when i kill an enemy captain/general, it says we "strengthened carthage". why am i getting non-relevant messages?!

Those could be the right messages, depending on what faction you are playing.

im playing as As Sabyn Wal Jau. somehow i don't think it should say im strengthening carthage or feeble romans are routing. i havent even made contact with rome yet.

Oh, ok.

When Saba was made, all of the Carthaginian information was used a placeholders for them. Most of it was replaced or at least removed but there is some old text and the like that remains because development was staled on Saba at about v0.81.

It's not really a major bug or something wrong with your install. Saba just happens to be stuck in the beta stage of development.

ooh. but that still doesn't explain why i got a message saying feeble romans fleeing about my units routing.

Well Carthage and the Saba share the same culture, most likely they just for Carthagian features due to this.
