Hi guys i am currently playing a campaign as Prussia i had a lot of trade with the Marathan and my relations with them was Very Friendly/Very Friendly and when i attacked them because i wanted to colonise India Brandenburg suddenly went on strike the next round because they were against the war.

I agree that is a cool feature that the people did not like the war against a friendly nation with good relations.

Definitely a cool feature and I laughed when I had it backfire on me once. I was trying to trigger a revolution and went to war with someone I was Hostile with and all the damn "Patriotism" did was make it harder to get the revolution to happen

If you continuosly (sp?) lose battles against the enemy, doesn't your population become "tired" of the war and it causes unhappiness? And vice versa where if you win a lot of battles against an enemy then people are happy the war is going well and support for your government shoot up.

That may be why im dominating so much in russia.

Winning battles or being at war with a nation your people think of as "Hostile" improve order. Losing battles or being at war with a nation your people actually like (or maybe at least, don't really want to kill), will degrade order.
