Hi everyone.
I have a question. If I conquer and destroy some faction, do I automatically receive all technologies it has invented?

No, you don`t.

No but if you take an advanced city all the buildings you can't make yet stay there.

You killed their generals, assinated their gentlemen, burned their schools, and destroyed their culture.

You expect them to remember all their tech? Let alone give it to you?

Yeah, conquering them don't give you nothing tech-wise. I thought I could force my protectorates to give me techs like in Civ, but apparently in ETW it only works while you're negotiating the ceasefire. After that they're not afraid of anything.
