    Default Nvidia Drivers...

Nividia is typically really good at updating thier drivers. However I have read several post on not updating to the latest one because CA did not have time to test it...

Which Drivers work best with your system... and does anyone know if there is a new one that CA has tested and Nvidia is going to release?

Ditto...except I'm using an 8800GT. I still get CTDs, but they are far less frequent.

Driver 181.2 works well. I tested the game with the latest driver as well (182.08) but had lots of problems so I went back the earlier driver.

I also use 181.2 with 8800GTS in SLI. Less memory crashes then with more recent drivers.

I have personally had the best luck with the 185 drivers that was posted awhile back on my 8800gtx.

8800GTX...I used to run the 185.20 and had no crashes but I had to switch to the 182.06 for the memory leak fix to work. They seem pretty stable too and no CTDs, at least not yet.

I had problems with lag and had drivers 182.08 for my 8800GT

Now since i'm using 182.06 i think it is no problems what so ever

I've a pair of GTX280s in SLI mode - I downloaded and installed 182.08 prior to installing ETW. I could fight battles OK but when I tried to start a campaign the game froze in the faction introduction. I've been running with the previous drivers that I had 181.22 (I've been working away from home for a number of months) but am downloading 182.06 and will use that.

I was having the 'insufficient memory problems' with the 181.22 drivers but the stickied fix appears to have done the trick.

It depends if is Nvidia that is causing the problem or E:TW. I somehow think it's E:TW. I downloaded the 182.06 drivers and I get lock up almost immediately I start the campaign (the whole PC not just the game).

E:TW is going 'back in the box' (even though with Steam you don't need to have any disc in the drive) for a patch or two. Back to playing stable RTW based mods for me.

    I am using 181.22 with my GTX280...

It looks good, runs pretty nice and only occasionally do I get the "Insufficient video memory" error pop up (usually after playing for a few hours and while it is loading a nice big full stack siege battle)...

That is 1680x1050, with gfx options as high as they can go except AA is on x4 and Depth of Field is off.
