Yes! Somehow a nation with apopulation no where near the size of Russia's has conquered it!

I mean this really as the fact that it was such a feat! It took me around 20 years to cross and conquer the Russian steppe.

To anyone who is invading Russia I would suggest two routes.

As Sweden or if you just happen to control Scandanavia you have a perfect angle to go right in and rip out Russia's heart by captured Moscow and Kiev. From there Russia just falls like a stack of cards-but it still takes a while to go to every backwood province and take everyone even if they don;t have much of an army!

As the Ottomans or Marathas, go through the Caucus Mts and strike at their backdoor-sweeping from the Right to the Left.

If you go from that route though, Kiev and Moscow (and possibly St. Petersburg) remain in the west, pumping out troops to send your way. Much harder march that way.

Thats exactly why we need more regions. Not much to argue with the strategy as sweden, concerning the ottomans the way through the caucasus is obviously also as russia will have its stacks in the west.

Heh, yeah i was expecting to run out of population(as Sweden) when making my armies at first but it seems its balanced to fit everyone else.

Huh cool ! On the contrary view, playing Russia I ve conquered Sweden first of all major powers. Took around 10-15 years max. Denmark was helping out nicely by pillaging swedesh capital region. I did it easily on H/H, although out of 4 naval battles I lost 3, Russia has fleets in the beginning.
