Nice find!
Anyone writing these all down? If so i will go in and refind "Skirmish" and "Fire at Will" modes inside PFM.
Perhaps they could be updated in a future release!
In FPM;
Unknown Checkbox #1 - Use Grenades
Unknown Checkbox #2 - Skirmish Mode
Unknown Checkbox #4 - Mount/Dismount
Unknown Checkbox #14 (last box) - Fire at Will
Hmm, I am having complications. At first this was the only variable I changed and it altered my movement speed, but since them I have been changing it and I have not seen a difference. I know it must be in some way related, but I don't know how.
You are correct, as the variable has been updated in the FPM --
The first value is walk speed, second value is run speed.
Hi guys, i'm a little confused here. What file is this located in and what do you mean by first value is walk speed and second is run speed. I presume it's the first two unknown columns? I would like to slow down movement rates during battles and have edited the unit_movement_modifiers file but it only seems to slow movement down for walking and not for running and charges....any help would be greatly appreciated...
The values we are modifying are located in units_stats_land.
With the newest version of FPM you should even have the colums labeled now.

Let me know how it goes!
no. Fatigued is in another db file
Those aren't the rate of movement of units, but some unused formation spacing values(the 2 values before them being the space between soldiers and space between ranks). Movement speeds for units on tactical map is handled in battle_entities

Thanks Jack! I added support for battle_entities to PFM and named some likely columns that have to do with movement. Also linked up unit_stats_land columns that point to battle_entities, although there seem to be different columns for infantry, cavalry, and artillery (the last one I haven't found yet).
This will be great, tip of the iceberg. Mainly it will make a great change in getting units in and out of cover, for more modern combat mods we should be able to give more realistic open spacing to the units
PS you should change the name of the first post
