Did you by chance change the screen name of the Guards unit? I'm having the issue where the Guards unit shows up without a screen name for it, but the others (grenadiers and line inf) are fine. Its that funky .loc file that seems to work for some and not for others.

Aha maybe Floublon changed the screen name probably.

Yeah, the missing Guards name is my fault. The reason I did not include a .loc file is because of how troublesome the .loc files are - from what I understand they cannot be appended in a mod format like db files are.
This means that the .loc file will completely overwrite the original file when the mod is loaded, and so will cause conflicts with other mods.
Also, the localisation.loc is different depending on what language your version of the game is in.
If you want to edit your own localisation.loc in your local_xx.pack using LtChambers PFM then feel free to do so, although I would suggest that you first extract it and then import it into your mod_prussia.pack.

As far as I know, you basically just need to add a line saying:
    units_on_screen_name_guard_infantry_prussia : Guards

It should then show up in game. If you have any other mods which include their own localisation.loc then it will probably be overwritten, depending on your load order. I hope that helps. As for the officer issue, I'm working to resolve it with Magnus

    Thanks

    yeah i know ^^

i changed the name and its work but i need the english localisation.loc file because it changed the language into german
with the conflict problem you must only rename the localisation.loc in, for example Magnus72_localisation.loc
can anyone upload the english file?

if uploaded the german file http://ul.to/z0j07x

Indeed. I've had issues trying to get a custom name for my own custom unit to show up, but I've only been trying the various ways of making a patch or mod or movie .loc file separate from the unit's .pack.

Probably best to manually do it yourself as you say, adding lines for each new unit you know you're adding to your game... keeping a copy of your original .loc for safekeeping.

I will put up another update with the cuirassiers. Yes that officer model there is the wrong one, it should be the other one.
