    Default Naval section crashes game

Playing as Britain, so needless to say having a navy of some sort is necessary. Clicking on cities and armies works fine, no lag or anything. However, clicking on ships or docks it can often lag for minutes before it chugs along and gives me control back. And often, it simply crashes the game.
The Monks of Cool, whose tiny and exclusive monastery is hidden in a really cool and laid-back valley in the lower Ramtops, have a passing-out test for a novice. He is taken into a room full of all types of clothing and asked: Yo, my son, which of these is the most stylish thing to wear? And the correct answer is: Hey, whatever I select.

I've done some testing regarding this. I've found this to take longer and eventually crashes the game with most fleets if the following criteria are met:

    -Within moving distance of land
-late game when ships gain increase movement range on the map.

These combined apparently cause the game to calculate the possible areas the fleet can go and crashes on that due to the heavy (buggy?) calculations of their increased range + land to avoid.

I've also had this, late in game 1767 & just south of Florida raiding a trade route there.
Gulliman you probably are right there, it could also be due to mixed fleets & the calculations for different movements, so hopefully they patch it, this is the only CTD problem I have so would be nice if they fixed it

My Admiral has a middle nickname of John "foulweather Jack" Byron, Hadn't noticed that on any other ones perhaps that could be a factor?

same problems here playing with Great Britain around the 1760's. I thought it might be because they are in range of land, but then I had one crash far out in the Atlantic (European Theater). Also, up until that one the problems only occured in the Carribean. This is also my only CTD issue, so it'd be great to figure out.

I also found that if you have a stuck fleet, sometimes sending a working fleet to merge with it will free it up. However, this combining has also caused crashes, so its kind of hit or miss
