Changing unit sizes?

Im not familear with any of the modding detalis of this game.

From what I read it is possable to change unit sizes, correct?

If that is true, is it possable to change generic "line infantry" size and cost from nation to nation, to better reflect the historical unit recruitment sizes, or is this just a generic one size fits all catigory?

It would be interesting to think you have an advantage in numbers going into a battle because you have more units, but you wind up being outnumbered because of unit size.
