I was wondering if I could make it so that my Armenia faction's leader would be called "Prince" until 1187 then he becomes a "King" is there like a script I could make for this, or what, is it even possible? Please help
If you are using Kingdoms, then it should be possible.

Even without kingdoms you can do it. Have a hidden trait that the factionleader gets in 1187 as well as whenever someone becomes a leader after 1187 and have two leader traits, one with the condition that the leader has the new hidden trait, the other where the leader doesn't have the trait.

But traits can't control leader titles.

Depends which titles you are talking about, their trait titles (Faction Leader/Heir Apparent) are traits and can be controlled by triggers. If you mean the title that shows on the campaign map when you mouse over a character or have them selected then no there's nothing you can do. Given the OP didn't specify which he was talking about . . .

You could do it with another agent, but not the faction leader. You can rename them to one thing for the entirety of the campaign, depending on faction, but that's just what it is, there's no scripting command to my knowledge that does something similar to the change_settlement_name command for agent designations.
With another agent you'd just use level traits and then you can assign a new name to that based on which level it is.

You could leave the entry blank. That way he would only be displayed by his first name:
William
Now give him a trait with two levels. The epithet for the first level would be "Duke of Normandy". Would be displayed as:
William Duke of Normandy
Then you write a trigger that he would acquire the second level when ending his turn in London, the epithet for the second level would be "King of England". Would be displayed as:
William King of England
Now you would need to remove all other epithets, like "the mad", "the cunning" etc., from EDCT that they cannot overwrite his title later.
