        1. imperial_campaign.script.bin
        2. all copies of description_stratcampaign_script.bak descr_strat.txt.bak
        3. and every other bak file.

      2. That worked for me!
(you don't need them anyway), p.s. I changed some things in descr_strat, just so you know...maybe that was my problem in the first place (but I don't think so). Anyway - you could try this - but always make back-up files!

He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

I think you should add a fourth option to the poll . Im using Vista 64-bit and I have never had a CTD as far as I can remember (except switching between factions in selection screen etc.)

I may have found a way around the iissue of not being able to get part 2 i am going to leave it simple, put part 2 in a zipped file so it can be opened using winRAR etc... then simply drag the part 2 where you have part 1 and run the installer hopeffully this will work, but i cannot do it because i mysel voted the first option on the pole, and if you have common sense, that means i cant get part 2 either so hopefully someone will do it for me

    The Guy,

    Have you downloaded both parts?

Have you put them in the same folder?

If you answered yes to both questions then what is the problem exactly, what happens when you try to unite the files?

I have tried everything you have said, but when part 2 is starting to launch a sign pops up saying this file is not compatible with this version of window, check if you need 64 bit or 32 bit version of windows, also check to see if you recquire x86 or {ithink it is, not sure} x32

read the bugs thread pages 11 and 12

Ah I see. You don't launch part 2.

Put them both in the same folder then launch part 1 - not part 2.

The issue on page 11 is user error, he should have saved the file onto his hard drive but he tried to open it instead.

The issue on page 12 is caused by the guys internet connection and is solved by using a download manager.

    Hope that helps

What is the name of the folder you have saved the 2 parts of the installer in?

So you can't start the download? Earlier you said that it gets to 100%....

It really sounds to me like you are trying to open the file instead of saving it. When you click on the link to download it you must choose 'save' not 'open' or whatever it is for vista.

It doesn't sound like vista's fault so far, it just sounds like you are doing it wrong
