Graphical Concerns W/ MIITW
Greetings,
I just bought a new rig for ETW, and it is as follows:
i7 2.66
Sapphire ATI HD4870 1 gig DDR5
3 gigs of RAM
Anyhow, since I couldn't play MIITW that well on my old computer, I decided to play it, because I do like playing it. So, I do a custom battle and I set all the settings to the highest they can go. Well, I click on auto-army and it gives me a little message that states that I am exceeding the limits. I ignored the message and played anyway. Now, it played with pretty descent FPS and wasn't laggy, but my question is will I hurt anything in my rig if I continue to play when that message pops up? Sorry if it is a noob question, I'm just not sure and I certainly do not want to ruin anything. I don't know why it pops that statement up, I mean will the rig I stated above play MTWII, or should it? Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Never had one new enough to exceed limits unless I was trying to play an old 8-bit DOS game on XP. Doesn't work.
It shouldn't hurt it. The game engine being as old as it is may get fussy and shut down on you, though. You sure can't hurt the computer.

Cool, thanks for your response. I suppose I'll keep playing it on the highest settings. I mean, there really isn't a reason why it shouldn't play on the highest settings, right? Thanks again.

If it doesn't want to, you can always manually modify the .cfg file to get it back. Good luck.
