Naval Battle Crash and Error

Hey all i just was playing a small naval battle (only 10 ships total) and out of nowhere when i selected to attack their last routing ship after capturing the others i get a white screen and a big microsoft error message.

here are my specs.
amd fx60 2.6ghz dual core
geforce 9800 gt 512 vram
2 gigs ram
xp pro

first off is crash that i experienced what is known as a CTD? Secondly is there any help/hope for this problem?

I had the same crash happen to me yesterday.

Only 13 ships in the battle, then the screen goes white and a big error message.

It needs fixing.

Hi there, is this still unresolved for you? I'm suddenly ( well I just got this game for a couple of days only) having the same problem. The battle was very small. I had 2 ships and the enemy had 3. I fought this battle about a couple times before and everything was fine. But I was losing. I was about to win the last try and it suddenly crashed the same way, white screen and windows error message.
Specs: Q6600 Quad core 2.4Ghz, 8800GTS 320MB with 182.50, 4GB corsair RAM dual channel (Xp pro detects only 3.25GB though).

Hmmm well i have only had one crash like that and it was when i originally posted this thread. I have not had one since but I doubt that it got fixed. The past few patches have simply been dealing with sound bugz so yea its prlly still out there.... lurking. Sry i cant help you more.

No problem, actually it also happened to me only once. Have had bigger naval battles already after that and everything was fine. But like you said it's still out there lurking . We'll wait and see. Thanks again for your reply.
