I like this mod, but can we get this somewhere other than megaupload, maybe to a site that's more friendly to people who are colorblind or partially colorblind (like me) with their stupid security checks? I can never pass the security checks (or it takes me 10 times) because I can't see the numbers/letters or whatever they are.

I mainly use my audio app called Cooledit Pro, but I had another program called Switch which was fairly decent. I did a search for it for you and here is the link, you can download the free trial vesion. Not sure what that is all about, if its limited or what.

    http://www.nch.com.au/switch/

Also I would recommend this program here -> http://www.mp3-converter.com/cdda_xtractor.htm

PS> Oh yea, the game uses MONO, not stereo in .WAV file format. Just wanted to give you that tip in case you were just converting it to stereo and trying to run it in game. Which won't work.

Hope some this helps you mate!

Hollowfaith, this is a good example of what I'd humbly suggest might interest you in the bagpipe scenario. check out itunes and look this song and listen to the preview:
    Albumipes and Drums of Scotland
    Artist: 1st Battalion Black Watch
    Song: scotland the Brave
You can preview it on itunes - listen out for the quick scattering of the drums and their pace on the choruses ... not staid at all. I know it is with a snare on the drum but that doesn't have any impact on the upbeat patterns they drum corp are playing (the drum sergeant plays all the time and is joined in occcasionally by the rest of the snare drummers)
IGNORE the BRASS SECTION in the middle. dreadful.

Other songs as I mentioned: the Scottish Soldier / When the battle is Over.

Good luck! Tried to convert my songs into an uploadable format but no joy ...

Thanks Kurgan! That will be of GREAT use! Especially the drums, I'm having a hell-of-a time getting them made! The songs are 4/4 but the pauses in the pipes kind of throws it off and I have to resort to using flam's and rolls to make it sound good LOL. Thank you!

IS There a way to add more than 4 march music files?

No. Not without modding tools at least.

I'm currently out of town, but I am able to get some internet access at a local cybercafe outside of where my brothers band is playing so I'll briefly go over these posts. Lots of them since last I checked so here goes...

@ Hellfromthepast - Thanks! When IO return in the next 2 weeks I'll be re-upping the Narva March and begin work on Spain.

@rman114 - Your welcome! You can only use one patch at a time and it does play for all nations until some other crafty modder can find a way to make it specific.

@BritPatriot1815 - Thank you! I haven't really decided on a song for russia yet. I'll look into the Preobrazensky March!

@ONI NavSpecWar - I'll note it when I return on my requests list!

    @Franky235 - You sure can!

@Horgo Splendis - Your most welcome my friend!

@Condottiere SOG - Probably never, the game will only use 4 of the march files at anyone time. Though all of these patches can be mixed and matched into one of your own patches if you know how to use the PackFile Manager.

@Altheman - Thanks for the comment! There is no way currently to make this faction specific, at least until we can get a hold of the modder tools from CA to see what can be done!

@Rsty Bloodnok - No, thank you for using my mod! If I knew more about modding I would say send me the file but this is my first mod I have done "successfully"! Though it does sound interesting, if only there were a way to get this incorporated. LOL, I know how you feel mate!

@Monsta - That would be the Prussian Pack heres the link for you. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W7PKNMGE

@rman114 - Thanks for the feedback. As I said on the first page and numerous times before this mod is limited by the current game as it will play the music for all factions. The generic drums were taken from some re-enactors practicing on Lambegs. I do have just drum tracks I have made and will be releasing in the future. Again, thank you very much for the compliments, and thanks for giving the mod a try at least, it is most appreciated!

@Pasquale The Crusader - Just unzip/unrar the patch file into your empire data directory. It will overwrite nothing. To remove simply take it ot of the folder or delete it! It is made so the mod does not touch any of the vanilla files. Hope you enjoy the mod!

@ramses12 - Interesting thought, though I would not know where to begin as I am fairly new to modding. I'll have to investigate when I get back to town.

@Davius - Yes it does work with the latest patch, as I just played it this afternoon at a local starbucks before our rehersals!

@Rsty Bloodnok - Thanks for replying to Davius! LOL

@Everyone - Thank you for your ongoing support! This mod has become more popular than I would ever have imagined, and to think I was just going to make these for myself! LOL Later my friends see you in a few!

    Hey Franky235 No problem mate!

The audio files need to be in wave format, not mp3.
They need to be mono and not stereo.
The mono wave files I use are 16bit/44khz.
Be sure the files are named exactly as I have them in the patch files or the sounds will not work.

    Hope that helps you some!

Ok, I have some time tonight to answer a few questions and take care of some posting! I am still on tour with my brothers band so my internet access is going to be spotty or non-existant. So if I don't respond back right away, I apologize ahead of time! Now, down to business!

@The Kurgan - The audio files need to be in wave format, not mp3. They need to be mono and not stereo. The mono wave files I use are 16bit/44khz. Be sure the files are named exactly as I have them in the patch files or the sounds will not work. Hope that helps some.

@1in1class - Yep they will play for all factions until it can be modded so.

@Little Legionaire - Thank you! Sure. Any little bit helps! Though I really can't do any major internet stuff till I get back home in a another few weeks! I will definitely host it on my mod page for you guys!

@BritPatriot1815 - I haven't searched for it yet. Though when I return home in a few weeks I will continue my working on the mod at full speed!

If i use the generic drum patch, do the drums play for all nations?

If i use the generic drum patch does that mean i can't use the other nation specific patches?

    Thanks for your work!

Add Minstrel Boy on Bagpipes for Ireland or if you can find a more battle-sounding song use that
