Yah, tomorrow then.
Yah, tomorrow then.
Wait, did you just say you write this things yourself in a studio?
Anyway, cant you release this songs/music in a format that works for more than just total war?
You know, like a music pack which i could add to my ipod and listen to whenever i want to and not just when im playing empire.
hey wasap caligula? =D im alwar from shogun forum ^^ i still have the spanish marchs if u need it ^^
and other thing... surfing throught patch.pack i found that there are differents sounds for "charge" or "march" for the drummer, may have any chance of using the march songs in differents orders?
thx for ur mods =D

March pack for Sweden is now live.
I'm not overly happy with the way I wrote the drums of this one, though I probably will make a remix of this with a different cadence. This also has my new drum sound I developed, please let me know what you think. Constructive Criticism is always welcome.
@rsharpe - Yep, I write all of my own stuff. The only ones that are not my original work, besides editing them to make them loop-able and to correct a few things, were the Lilliburlero, British, French, and Generic packs. All the rest I did myself. Heh, I thought of releasing these as they were recorded originaly. For the game I have to convert and mix down the audio to mono as that is what the game engine uses, and also keeps the file size down. I'm glad you enjoy them mate!
@Alwar - Hey buddy! Glad you could make it over to the TWC! Yep, I've seen the different sounds to and have been experimenting. When I find a good combo I'll re-release all my packs with the upgraded versions! No problem mate, you are most certainly welcome!

Very Nice Keep up the good work
@ EgyptianNecrophiliac - "I don't really like how it turned out :/
I have no clue about making music so I'll just say I'd want a drum sound with a softer, fuller oomph. And a more fluid fife. "
Yea, I was afraid of that. I forgot to replace those drums with my remade ones. I spent 14+ hours trying to get those drums to work with the march.
Well I'll go back and reinsert my newer drum sound, but it won't be till later tonight or tomorrow.
Thank you for the feedback EgyptianNecrophiliac! Any feedback good or bad (Constructive bad though, don't tell me the song sucks and not say as to why.) is great!

Here it is as promised the Hohenfriedberger in Mp3 format, full stereo, and with the new drums that were supposed to be in the Sweden March of Narva, that which I'm afraid will have to be uploaded tomorrow.

Enjoy and please comment on the new drum sound thanks!
*EDIT* - LOL, just realized I forgot to move my pan knob from the left, so the Mp3 mix for the Hohenfriedberger is just slightly left heavy, but not to noticeable. Man I'm goin' to bed! LOL

Two requests:
#1, could you release a compilation (Ie: All of these in one download pack)
#2, is their any way you could get a good bagpipe march?
+Rep for anyone who can translate! (The above)
Auta i lóme! Aurë entuluva!
Nice job, sounds really good. I'll definitely grab this mod once I start incorporating mods into my ETW.
@Erunion Telcontar - I will be making a compilation pack in the future when I have at least one song from each faction done. AS for bagpipes, I'm currently wading through Scotland the Brave though I'm having a lot of trouble writing the Bagpipes for it. That should be finished sometime in the next few weeks along with a few other surprises. Thanks for your interest in the mod!

Hollowfaith I have to applaud you - excellent! I used to play the bagpipes and would adore there to be some classic scottish bagpipe tunes with drums because the scottish regiments always fought with bagpipers playing alongside - well documented in the seven years war too.
How about
1.Scotland the Brave and/or
2. the Battle is over and/or
3.A Scottish soldier ?
wow this mod is soo great. thx man!
but im still missin`a pack for austria
Maybe the Prince Eugen March would be the right one for this Mod?!

@Erunion Telcontar - Your welcome!
@The Kurgan - Thank you mate and thanks for the offer. I bought a program made by a company called soundbytes, the program is simply called Bagpipes. It gives a slightly realistic sound with the drone and everything. Though, of course it cannot replace real bagpipes! Most of my music is done by me trying to emulate a particular instrument, thats why it sounds a bit 'stiff' and sometimes synthy. I try to do the best I can with what I got. I wish I had the money to buy the expensive orchestral mega samplers.
@Kaoc - Thanks! No worries Austria will get something. Every faction will have a march to.. well march to.
Later this evening I'll try uploading a new version of the March of Narva. I have a few errands to run because of the Easter holiday with family coming over and everything.
So I'll try and get this up today for you folks! If not it will for sure be up by monday morning at the very latest.
To those that celebrate - Happy Easter!
To those that don't - Have a great weekend!

How close would you say you are to applying the music to their individual factions?
How far will I go for Rome? At least to the end of the street, I hate walking
Hi BritPatriot1815
I just need to do Spain, Austria, Russia, Maratha, and United Provinces. Then each faction will have one song. I would say maybe a month or two at the most to complete those five last factions. Then I have a lot of requests I would like to do, and then finish up some of my SFX improvements.Though I might just not do that as there are a lot of sfx improvement mods out already. Hope some that helps you!
