can any1 get rid of those nonsence trade theaters and put colonies plz ..cuz i mean it screws the game tbh :S well lets hope some 1 asnwer my call

Yes they were:

-the second biggest empire in 1700(second to Spain) and in 1799(second to Britain)

-swimming in gold from Brazil and trade from Africa and India= rich as hell

-a military power: in 1709 portugal occupied Madrid and almost half of spain in the spanish sucession war.

Yet in game we have two lousy provinces, thats smaller than the Dutch.

And what about our crown jewel Brazil? The consolation prize we get is portugal begins with one of its trade lanes when Brazil should be a full blown colony.

dude it wouldnt exactly be a simple task, someone would have to create a BRAND NEW map, which would take long, still i wish CA had done a full world map with no trade theatres because so much of the world left out, but it takes long enough loading, id imagine it would take a dam lot longer with the whole world and all the factions that come with it.

Portugal can already make a load of money off trade theaters, so its not that bad. I would like to see South America added, though, as more map is always better.

Well, once we can edit provinces, we MAY be able to add some colonies in the trade theaters? There is alittle bit of physical land there. Don't know if it coud support a colony though.
