Gold Edition patch question

I have the box set of Medieval TW 2 and the Kingdoms expansion, and I was just wondering if anyone knows if it comes with the latest patches or if I need to get 1.1, 1.2 e.t.c. It says 1.03 in the options menu though

To make it easy, install Medieval2, then install Kingdoms and it will install the updates, all you have to do is keep clicking yes.

Ah ok, just it didn't say anything about updating so I didnt know, it just went through the usual install thing for each kingdoms campaign. is it worth just installing the 1.1 and 1.2 patch anyway or will that screw things up.

Without knowing it you just learned something. The patches are there or the Kingdoms campaigns would not have installed.

If you start Medieval2, in the top right coner of the options screen, it should say version 1.03.
Start one of the Kingdoms campaigns and the same screen should say version 1.04. Try it.

Are we still speaking of the Gold Edition? Some players have had better luck running setup off the disc manually instead of autorun.
