    Alright, I fixed it. Not sure what the problem was, but it seems to be working again.

    No, the soundmod includes all the sounds. There are two pack files, one for better weapon sfx and another for the musics.

    thanks, did you fix the tracers in any of your mods? if not i am going to do it... i am sick of those lol

    No, i left the tracers, because some people really likes it. (I do not, how you can see in my vids...)

    As far as I can tell, this mod is perfectly compatible with the tracer reduction mod. Causes no problems for me.

    But in that very moment the Cannonball is still around the exploding mass, you can see that on the videos of modern grenades exploding (in very very slow motion). On the other hand... it obviously looks better with a fireball. So I guess Mech_Donald just found a compromise between action and realism.

    Too much fire, I think. There should be flash, then small flame and some smoke, and dirt and debris kicking up, and then a slowly dissipating smoke.

    I agree. The shots are just at the moment of explosion. But there is only a short flash. I wan't it make as real and good looking as possible. The vanilla effects of this explosions are really terrible.

    Thats not entirely true it turns out, according to the devs recent mod news.
    In order to not have the mod pack files randomly overwrite or be overridden by new patches, you must create a user.empire_script.txt file in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts
    And in that file you must add this --> mod themodfilename.pack;
    One new line like that for each mod you use.

    This will ensure that the game loads these pack files as MODS, to always be loaded after any new patches, otherwise they can be loaded in with later patches and screw things up.
    I would also advise to rename each mod .pack file you have to something like mod_name.pack, to further ensure that they arent loaded with / before any later patches that might be released.

    At least thats what CA said ^_^

    Seriously guys...Im having a real issue with regards to getting the blood to work. Everything else is working EXCEPT the blood. I removed the old and installed the new, so I dont know what the problem is.

    Yes, it's a good idea to rename your mods to whatever standard that's easiest for you to work with. For example, here's a list of my mods as they are now in my data folder:

    _mod_darktrails.pack
    _mod_MarchingMusic.pack
    _mod_pipmod.pack
    _mod_smoke_lite_blood.pack
    _mod_WeaponSFX.pack

    Those are all 'patch' mods created with LtChambers great pack file manager by the way.

    Have you placed the patch_blood_only.pack into the Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\empire total war\data folder?

    If so this mod should work i have used both versions with no problems! if you use the first blood mod you can see the effects from faer away, if you are using 1.1 version the blood effects do not appear untill you zoom in closer to the units?

    Jester I had the same problems. Basically I deleted all additional mods I placed into the data folder so that it was clean and then placed only the smoke mod in there. I believe one of the mods I installed must have interfered with the smoke mod. You do not need the extra blood mod when you have as well the smoke mod, full or light.

    Also, the new blood effects in the smoke mod are reduced and only realy visible if you zoome all the way in to the single men.

    Just finished playing with the 1.3 light version and have to say it's awesome!

    The performance has increased to a very nice level with the exception of the puckle gun. Thanks again for your fantastic contribution to the community.
