i have ss 6.1 with a few sub mods, like the visual one and crimson tide and a few other small ones. but in campaign i have lord of the rings music! grr its so unrealistic can some one let me know how to revert back to stainless steel music please.

Well this is a new one. Try deleting the events.idx, events.dat, and music.dat and events.idx from the SS\data\sounds folder. The game will rebuild them when you next start it.

Be aware though if you are running Vista, some files might be stored as compatability files (which might actually be the cause of the problem in the first place) elsewhere on your hard disk. I believe you need to turn off UAC to fix this. Check the Vista FAQ sticky thread at the top of this forum for details.
