Starting from scratch.. need download/install help

So, I have the M2TW + Kingdoms collection and am doing a fresh install tonight. Was just wondering what I'd need to download and install in what order to get SS up and running. Thanks. =)

Well you dont need 6.2 to get SS running. Whether you install it or not is a personal preference considering it's not a final release. And the 1.5 patch doesn't change anything that affects SS. I've never installed 1.5

Depending on how you like you games. It changes almost everything from bacis SS, and not everyone's gonna like the changes.

For instance, the increased attack on all units, makes battles far too fast for my liking. And "disabled" diplomacy, ie everyone will attack you, despite good relations, same religion, and married alliance, isn't fun for me either.

It's a great piece of work, no doubt. My experience with it is just that alot of it is made with a blitzer in mind, not a turtler like me.

As Caesar said, but two things, do everything twice, sometimes installer misses stuff and if you use BGR3, check out for fix in sub mod section, otherwise things will become annoying
