What's the new one like, Mortal Kombat v DC Universe? I've heard the campaign mode is very short, but Arcade mode, Versus and online more than make up for it, is that true? I love the idea of Superman et al vs the Mortal Kombat team!

Overall I think it's a good fighting game.
The 3d aspect can take some time to get used to but when you encounter someone online that is playing as Sub-Zero and keeps trying to freeze you, stepping sideways can be counted as a blessing.
It's sad that they didn't go full gore in the game but the damage system in the game is pretty sweet.
The character's uniforms will get thorn and their faces will get all bruised and bloody.
Seeing Superman with a black eye and a bloody lip is a sight as is seeing Sonya Blades T-shirt get thorn and you notice that she isn't wearing a bra and you catch a good look of her side-boob.
Also the various special moves such as running guys through walls or knocking them over the edge of a tall building and you have to fight your opponent as you both fall down is a fun and fresh system and works well too.
Overall I like it especially online is alot of fun.
Not sure how many people there are playing on the PS3 but on 360 there is alot.
I've played the MK's from the first one on my Mega Drive II till the latest one.
Trust me, if you love the MK series, don't buy this game.
- For a PS3 (high definition 1080p) game, the graphics are average at best.
- There's very little graphical difference between this and MK Armageddon.
- Moves are limited.
- Story-mode is so cheesy, it's making the Japanese developers jealous.
- Fighting isn't as fluid as the previous MK's. In fact, it's very restrictive.
- Very limited number of fighters to choose from, many favorites missing.
- Limited game-play, overall.
Seriously, I'm a huge MK fan but this one has let me down. It's rotting on my bookshelf. If you want a good fighter, you can't go wrong with Street Fighter 4 or just wait for the next Tekken.

I want a remake of the original, with more characters and styles. No new characters. I love Noob Saibot!
He kicked serious ass!
