    Default Fable II

    Thoughts?

I know it's been out for awhile but I finally got my hands on it a few days ago.

IMO this is a truly awesome game...it's sooo much better than the original Fable; however, for anyone else who has this game or has played it, have you experienced consistent bugs and glitches?

I'm not hooked up to LIVE atm so I don't have that update they put out but I come across SO many bugs in this game it's sort of ridiculous...is it just me or are all the copies like this? For instance, this is what I've come across thus far:

    1) knocking an enemy over and into a wall will cause that enemy to stick to the wall
    2) I entered "redecorate" mode for my house and then left...since then I've had the tip "Buy furniture at the..." at the top of my screen
    3) After the first time, I couldn't have sex with my wife anymore...she would say something about it, the tip would come up telling me to give the thumbs up expression, so I would and then I'd get to the bed with her and nothing would happen...it would just ask me how long I wanted to sleep for.
    4) Despite my menu stating that she was happy and her like/dislike bar telling me thus (and my consistent good "husbanding") I showed up at home one day and she walked out on me...
    5) Twice now I've been fighting and stood on top of a fallen (but not dead) enemy and have gotten physically stuck...I can't move, or attack, and I have to pause the game and unpause it to get it back to normal.

There are some more I know but I cant recall them right now. Has anyone else come across these bugs or others? Does the update fix most of them?

Honestly, the bugs and glitches seem to really be the only thing holding this game back from being absolutely perfect some times.

It's a pro game. The story is so awesome. For once we get to play a fairytale instead of some massive fantasy epic.
I have approximate answers and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I’m not absolutely sure of anything, and many things I don’t know anything about. But I don’t have to know an answer. I don’t feel frightened by not knowing.

The game has no final boss. It's just a story that is concluded.

If you let him monologue too much, Reaver will do it for you. XD It's quite funny.

Agreed. That's what I've always loved about the Fable games...they're "epic" but not on a massive overwhelming scale like say....Oblivion
