Early Gaul

I suggest that the next installment of this mod be Julians early days in Gaul.
I would think that there would be more if's and what if's during this period. After all he was just a lonely Caesar at this point.Newly installed by his uncle the Emperor....Things could have been so much different for him had of the tribes in Germania not collapsed so easy, if his subordinates had of turned on him the way that Constantius had hoped.

Version 2.1 and the new 3.0 soon to be out indeed have a prov campaign about julians time in gual. its my fav campaign

have you tried the 2.1 its very good

The next version will have a campaign about Julian's exploits as Caesar in Gaul starting in 355AD, as the exisitng IJV2.01a already has.

IJV3.0 will in fact have 3 campaigns:

355AD - Julianus in Gaul as Caesar with Constantius II as Emperor
361AD - United Empire under Julianus with his planned invasion of the Sassanid Empire
365AD - Julianus' Cousin Procopius revolts against the Eastern Emperor Valens, while the Western Emperor Valentinian I combats the Germans and the Saxons

Any chance of doing a 4th campaign simulating the 'Gothic War' from 376AD to 382AD?

At this rate I'll never finish

. But seriously I may look into it once I've released the BETA version.

Don't know whether it would be better suited as a provincial campaign or not.

Yes, provincial would be the way to go as you only need the Eastern Half of the Empire, plus Greece, Illyricum, Thrace and the other Balkan provinces.
