    hey guys. in older games, it was the EDU we edited to suit our purpose yes?

    how do u get the empire total war EDU?

    i would like to see certain unit stats tampered with.

    any help on the matter would be great. thanks

    But at the moment you have to unpack for both.

    Should also note, i'm not entirely sure you can change everything you want with these programs... but i'm sure you can change some. Edit: and by you i mean the original poster... obviously you can't change EVERYTHING with these programs.

    hang on. these programs. they just unpack those mega packs? will they enable empire to be as simple as modding medieval 2 or rome?

    One unpacks the packs... the others change specific files that you are currently looking for.

    This is all we have right now, and really we just got both of the editors today.

    ATM they can only change unit values.... nothing extreme like region and faction changes for the moment.

    It will take a while for those to come out i'm thinking... if not until CA decides to release their modding tools.

    ah. thanks for the help.

    u see, what i want is to simply edit the damage of musket fire. i heard that there IS a difference in the range/accuracy ratio, and i would like to make it a bit more realistic (as in 20-30 of them dropping dead per point blank volley instead of 4 or 5)

    the guards are who i really want to edit.
