Happy Paddy's day everyone, even those of you who are not irish. What does st. Patrick's day mean to you? is it irrelevant or is it as important as other days in our cultural calendar? For me it is a day to remember the Irish diaspora around the world and we celebrate one day together.

This is in advance of the actual day BTW

Quite the enthusiast! It's mad, so much of the West make such a day out of it. What St.George did was far more impressive... Anyhow, I shall probably be drowning in a sordid mess of whisky and Guiness come the day.

It's a day for people who aren't Irish or who are barely of Irish heritage but think they're Irish to have an excuse to get drunk.

Happy St. Paddy's day anyway, here in NJ a good portion of the population is Irish so we celebrate it here.

I think its great that Irish people enjoy their national day so much. I think its absurd that non-Irish people enjoy their national day so much.

People need to rember that the fact one or two of their sixteen great, great grandparents came from (and left) Ireland does not make them Irish.

In NCAD we're making a 20 foot sculpture of a pint of Guiness, and 2 secret parade floats.
