DLV ctd during computer turn

Ok I apologize if this has been answered before but ive looked around but haven't found anything that was very helpful for me.

Im playing Deus Lo Vult Europa and loving it, but a few turns ago the game started to crash during the computer's turn. At first i was able to get around it by saving and reloading but ive hit a wall. Im playing as the English and its the winter of 1224. ive gotten rid of the fog and have replicated the ctd several times, its always at the same point: a scothish unit starting outside Stirling moves south as if to enter Dumfries but when it gets to the tile outside the city the game crashes.

If anyone has any advice for me id greatly appreciate it. I had a similar problem playing Rome tw but was able to get past it by taking control of the troublesome faction. I tried to take control of the scottish using the command that is listed on numerous websites: control <faction_type> but i couldnt get it to work. Thanks in advance.

I know enough about DLV Europa that you need to ask in that forum. The map and units involved are all mod specific and they would be the ones with the answers.
