m2tw fatal error

hi,yesterday evening i had to reinstall broken crescent. but now when i try to play it i get the message "medieval II suffered a fatal error and will now exit". i am not using vista. can annyone help me or am i doomed?

I get that too, but I do use Vista its almost like there is a compatibility issue with the mod and M2:TW or something

could be anything be more sipsific tell us what your were running while it failed what other programs do you have? did you have them on? does your cumputer block the program? what version do you have? its a million billlzion things that could go wrong.

Hi, I have the same problem, I hade installed MTW2 ,patchet whit 1.2 and 1.3 then installed the BC 1.0 and patched it whit 1.5 and the missing UI, then when i try to run the game from the BC shortcut it opens the DOS window and a crt error comes that says:

BTW I am using Windows XP not Vista and didn't expect such things to hapen it's strange really



I found a way to fix the problem I hade downloaded and extract the Vista fix for the cfg. file and it worked

Yes worked for me as well.

Also I could not get the 1.2 patch to load for M2TW ads it kept sayig a file was locked, so I loaded 1.1 first and that allowed 1.2 to load successfully.
