Germany: Teen Gunman Kills at least 12 Students In School Shooting and 4 others

Police in Germany have confirmed the gunman who shot and killed 12 people during a shooting spree at a school in Winnenden, Germany, is dead. The individual reportedly fled the scene and died during a shootout with police in a grocery store in Wendlingen, 40km away, which killed two others and seriously wounded two police officers.

Police have also further confirmed that nine students and three teachers were killed during the shooting spree at the Albertville Realschule secondary school in Winnenden, near Stuttgart.

The lone gunman, dressed in black combat clothes, fled the scene in a car to a Wendlingen, a town 40km away from Winnenden, where the school shooting took place.

The gunman reportedy also killed an innocent bystander at a clinic near the school as he fled.

According to primary reports, a shoot out between the gunman and police officers ensued in a grocery store, during which the gunman was killed. Two other people also died during the shootout, which left two police officers seriously wounded.
This brings the death toll to a total of 16.

Its not about gun per person. If you expect that anyone can be armed you are less likely to attack someone. And if you are armed you have more chances of protecting yourself and the others.

Not if they pull the gun on you first.

My theory is it is mainly based on the increasing population of the planet. For 2 reasons....first, the more people there are in the world, the more chances there are for a brain deficient person to be born. Secondly, in the animal world, when they become too crowded, they begin adjusting to reduce the growth.

Because anyone who wants to obey the law must give up their right to life by not being allowed to carry guns themselves for protection.

Gun control doesn't work. It only makes it easier for the killer to find soft targets and know he won't have to risk being shot until after he completes his dirty work and looses steam.

168 of these 4558 crimes where guns have been used
have been murder or manslaughter

in total there have been 3356 cases of crime aginst the life
that includes 734 cases of murder
1613 cases manslaughter
905 accidentialy killings
104 unwanted abbortions (as result of bodyharm to pregnant women)

seriously I don't know why you people or so concerned about tracking down why this happened and how to prevent it. These events do not happen to any degree that it would merit any social engineering to fix it. Simply put there is always going to be a number of our population with a mental handicap or an inability to fit in. These people are going to go off the deep end and lash out. It why prisons are filled with people with mental disorders. You could ban everything and treat everybody like your best friend, and these things would still happen. Banning video games or guns or wiffle bats is not going to solve anything.
