CTD when I select my fleet
I have a crash to desktop whenever I select my third fleet which consists of:
A 3rd rate admiral ship
Five 2nd rate ships
Three 3rd rate ships
year is 1762 and its my first crash. Selecting other fleets goes fine...but this one gives me probs. Pressing End Turn works good....and I can move aroudn the rest of the units, but selecting that fleet in a different year goes CTD again.
Anyone else got this prob?

Re: CTD when I select my fleet
It has something to do with higher-end fleets that can move a long range. (Such as the fleet you described). The computer can't calculate the massive range they can move. Until it's patched there is a pretty simple fix.
Build two Sloops, and move them to the fleet you're having a problem with. Since your fleet has the max number of ships already, swap one of your vessels in the problem-fleet with a Sloop (so that you now have ONE Sloop in that fleet). Your second fleet should now have the other Sloop and the vessel you swapped. The presence of the Sloops will slow down both fleets movement range on the campaign map, which your computer will now be able to process without the CTD.
From then on, be careful to never select any of the ships in the fleet without FIRST selecting the Sloop (eg if you need to make repairs on the fleet, select the Sloop first, then select each of the other ships). I now keep a Sloop in all my fleets (which unfortunately has to be re-built a lot since the Sloops die all the time in auto-calc battles). If your Sloops gets killed in a battle, remember NOT to select that fleet again until you have moved another Sloop into it.
Not an ideal fix, but it works!
