    Default Steam and Modding

    Hey there!

So I with all the previous total war games, I bought the games off the shelf, however with E:TW I bought the game via steam...

My question is therefore how do I go about installing mods when I dont have access to the program files like I did with games bought out of the box? Am I S.O.L?

I really hope not, because I want to play with all the factions and it seems this will only be possible via mods! Any insight anyone?

you do have the game files they're just in the folder where steam puts them. Steams actually quite good with mods, there is a massive HL2 modding community who use Steam and I'd think over time ETW will be Modable via steam...fingers crossed

yea steam has never had any problems with mods at all , it's always seemed reasonably mod friendly to me.
