    Default Which AI is better rounded DLV or SS?

    What's your opinion?
    1-Which mod's battle AI makes you work harder?
    2-Which mod's campaign AI is more realistic?

    V ^^ seriously I didnt play SS so i can not compare, but i can tell you that DLV gives me a hell of a time on the campaign map ^^

    Just the AI? You'd have a big problem trying to work that out since the games are so different. If you were asking which game is harder then DLV.

    Hahah, thanks guys, great posts. I am a big fan of DLV. too. Last time I left DLV it was at version 5 something. I can even say although SS is also a good mod, I liked the challenging gameplay of DLV more in the past. Both are great mods. I haven't played MTW2 in over a year and was thinking of dusting off my game disc and give it another go.

    I saw that both DLV and SS has new versions. I am mostly interested in battle AI and to a lesser degree campaign AI, since I love the AI giving me a bloody nose. I also saw that there is another mod XAI which is entirely about revamping the AI.

    Needless to say I am delighted that these mods are improving the AI which I think as one of the most important features of the gameplay. I wanted to see your opinion as to which one behaves more rationally on the battle field, and did the AI change since the 5 series of DLV?

    The IA on battlefield in DLV is very good, specially if you DL the work of Taiji
    In plus, you have lots of new awesome stuff like scripts, factions, buildings, units, war horns, loading screens etc... etc... Don't wait, play DLV!

    I've been experimenting with AI recently, it's not perfect but then none are. Try my minimod if you want to see what it's like. XBAI does not work well with DLV, I've tested this extensively. It probably needs "tweaking" to work properly.

    I've never played vanilla SS, it's too easy, but the RRRC submod for it is excellent. I see that there is some progress being made with AI for SS in the RRRC thread, probably worth checking out

    If you decide to give my BB stuff a shot I'd really appreciate any feedback you have

    Thanks Taiji, will test it. It is also interesting that you mentioned RRRC AI, (will check that also ) it seems that it evolved into an AI project? last time I frequented the forum Real recruitment and real combat mods were for only balancing the recruitment mechanics and increasing realism by tinkering with the unit stats.

    If you got to go with the devil(ss). Then you got to install SS6.0+SS6.1+RRR+BGR++CBUR+BFTB+DVD+ATV+PMS+...+what ever more mini sub/addons bla bla bla-you need to realy enjoy the game.= Fu-cking complicated.

    It's not that bad lol you only need one submod for SS and that is RRRC, Point Blank has made sure of this

    DLV was made to be realistic in everything. The IA is strong on the campaign map, and if he is in the some script help him. On the battle map is not like a human but he's good!
