    Default Unspecific Error after Unpacking

    I have made NO changes since unpacking.

    I get an Unspecific Error crash when I enter a battle (after the loading screen); this began today after running the Unpacker tool.

    My game version is 1.03.

    Windows XP 32-bit, Q6600 processor, 2gigs of ram, Geforce 8800gtx. Had absolutely zero issues with the game until I unpacked the files.

    Here is the log from the crash:

    16:53:09.312 [system.rpt] [always] CPU: SSE2
    16:53:09.312 [system.rpt] [always] ==== system log start, build date: Jun 25 2007 version bld-medieval2-update2.1-30 (43169) ===
    16:53:09.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_0.pack
    16:53:09.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_1.pack
    16:53:09.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_2.pack
    16:53:09.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_3.pack
    16:53:09.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/data_4.pack
    16:53:09.328 [system.io] [always] mounted pack packs/localized.pack
    16:54:00.375 [system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

    Any ideas? Not sure what the log tells me.

    There are two files you should delete after unpacking. Read the readme for names and their locations.

    Another case for my petition to rename the file to: IgnoreMe instead of ReadMe
