What guns are legal in California?

I was reading up on the Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles and came across a topic where someone said that just about every gun in the show is illegal.

Well from what I have read (in California) every pistol in the show is illegal because they were using high capacity magazines. The shotguns were illegal because they either had a combat stock or folding stock. Even the .50 caliber Barret used in one episode is illegal in California.

Of course I like the way that the Connor's completely ignore the law and stick their pistols behind them in their jeans. Maybe we should all do that and just snub our noses at gun regulation.

Regulating ammo by barcoding it and limiting people to so many rounds will be bypassed by Chinese and Russian crime rings. You will see a lot of ammo coming in through a black market that never existed before regulation. It would be a prohibition all over again.

All this regulation will do is boon the business of organized crime.

Another thing that bothers me is that most of the actors involved in FOX, ABC and CBS are administrated by THE SCHIFF COMPANY.

This organization is not only an administrator but it is also a political organization which has donated significant sums of money to the Obama Campaign. Of which we know that Obama supports additional gun control laws.

So we have a producer who comes out with shows that promote people getting fake IDs, concealing weapons, Using weapons illegal in California.

So I guess its okay for hollywood to come out with shows like this that encourage people to defy infringement of gun rights but on the other hand doing their best to promote politicians who will take away your guns.

What happens when everyone's guns are gone? I wonder what Hollywood movies will look like in that kind of future.
