    After seeing both of these great movies, I noticed many similarities between the two, like character names, and possibly the contents of the briefcase. I think it would be interesting to know if Tarentino put these in accidentally or on purpose.

    Some Examples:
    -Are Vic Vega (Resevoir Dogs) and Vinccent Vega (Pulp Fiction) brothers?
    -Are the diamonds from Resevoir Dogs in the biefcase from Pulp Fiction?
    -Is the Joe that "The Wolf" talks to on the phone in Pulp Fiction the same Joe that organizes the heist in Resevoir Dogs?
    -Is the Bonnie that Nice Guy Eddie tells Mr. Blonde and Mr. Pink about in the Resevoir Dogs deleted scene the same Bonnie that is married to Jimmy in Pulp Fiction?

    Just curious to see people's thoughts on the matter, as I am a big fan of both movies.

    I can't really answer your questions, sine it's been some time since I've watched "Reservoir Dogs" the last time. But I've once read a funny little interpretation of "Pulp Fiction" that said the suitcase might contain Marcellus Wallace's soul. The way it shines golden when opened and the plaster in Marcellus' neck, where his soul might have been extracted from, among other things pointed towards that according to that text. Funny little theory.

    1) Yes they are brothers, well spotted.

    2)According to Quentin Tarantino, "It's whatever the viewer wants it to be." The popular term for a plot device in which the details are unknown, e.g., what's in the suitcase, what's the secret formula for, why the birds suddenly started to attack humans, etc., is called a "McGuffin". Some viewer have suggested that the briefcase contains: Marsellus Wallace's soul, the ear from Reservoir Dogs, OJ's other glove, Michael Jackson's other glove, the Oscar that Tarantino hopes to win, Rudolph's nose, Judy Davis' head from Barton Fink, laundered money, stolen diamonds from Reservoir Dogs, heroin, the Holy Grail, gold bullion, a 25 Watt transparent amber light bulb, flashlights...

    3)Very hard to tell, not 100% sure.

    4)Yes

    Both great movies.
