Same here. I get that same error with Dll file from 1.7 dbe being imported to pfm1.3b .

Edit: I am running Win Vista service pack 1 64bit.

I tried running it in XP, Win98 and Win95 compatibilty modes and still gets the error.

thanks a lot for your PFM&commonddl.rar there is only one thing that doesn't work and that is
afther change something you have to Extract selected and then replace file or save first and then replace file.
well both of them doesn't work.
Or i do something wrong, but this is better then the Packfilemanager 1.12 that one doesn't work for me.

I had the same problem with another file ;
Maybe the Common.dll gets corrupted after something ; Did you try to copy again a "fresh" common.dll (Dbeditor 1.7)
It worked with me
BTW DBEditor Is not working with me ; It doesn't recognize the Pach2.pack ; so I'm still using the PFM 1.3

We made our mod when there were 43 sections at unit_stats_land. by 1.4, CA added shooting while moving. Is it possible to add it to our unit_stats_land? I don't want to take new unit_stats_land and balance every unit from the beginning...

for some reason when i click on a data base thingy like "units_tables" a dumbass thing pops up and it says "Db editing disabled, the db table editor has been superceded by db editor, you can download it at blah blah blah" ok, so i download the db editor and it turned out to be some usless thing that i didnt need. WTF is going on here? is this some type of ploy designed to lure people in to download garbage they dont need? i have a system that i use when i mod and now its all sorts of disruppted. whats the deal?

i downloaded 1.11 and it worked perfect. what is the point of releasing updated PFMs with less capability than the one before it? am i missing something here?

with the last patch the modiffications tath apply to the patch.pack dosn't works, so I tryed to open patch2.pack and when I try to open all the files I have the same message of error of LEMONAIDS. I don't understand anymore wath it's happening, why u have created a new program like db editor? It's useless! why u don't improve packfilemanager and forget dbeditor?

PFM was the greatest mod tool for ETW.
I've tried DBE but it just isnt very user friendly and its very slow for the type of modding I do.

AK47, i agreee totally, PFM is the greatest tool ever created for ETW. what i had to do is download 1.11 instead of 1.12. 1.11 works perfectly.

Seriously, bring back being able to edit the DB with PFM. It was the best damn tool Empire had and taking it out of PFM is nothing short of sheer stupidity. The program that supposedly supersedes it is horribly user unfriendly and confusing. Then again i might just be a little testy right now after spending an hour and a half trying to figure it out....I guess i'll have to live without my cavalry standard bearers....

I agree, PFM was extremely user friendly and superior to DBE. But I guess there's too much prestige in it to go back to PFM. But! I think Alpaca will make available his internal version of PFM that will work with patch2.pack when he's ready

hey kaiserjoe, i agree completely.

just download 1.11 instead of 1.12, you can edit db till your heart is content there.
