    Default Emperor Heinrich

I'm playing SS 6.2 on hard as HRE. Emperor Heinrich offends the nobles at this level. At first I thought about getting rid of him, but I decided to weather out the civil war and see what it was about.

However, now that I check Henry he no longer offends the nobles! Is this possible, to lose that trait, or is something wrong?

I guess so. Offending the nobility has to do with the level of authority, probably chivalry/dread rating and general behavior. So it's quite possible to lose this trait.

    Just my two cents, though.

That trait seems to come & go and I haven't figured out what causes that yet. I always use the Emperor to lead assult on Milan and then send him back to Bern for growth. Sometimes I'll get the trait again, sometimes not. but I've never had the civil war yet through the first 20 turns. Of course the dogpile is usually so big by then I restart because I want to try different tactics-only pure warmongering helps with standard AI(you can ignore the pope) but with TheSavage's AI a little diplomacy helps the HRE.

And he'll get that trait even with maximum authority.

It seems that having authority eliminates the trait, and Henry has plenty of that... One less worry, as HRE is one of my favorite factions and this offended nobility thing was a drag.

    Exactly.

The higher the authority, the people of noble birth are less likely to.. be disloyal. It sorta makes sense if you think about it, no?
