I would not call US appearance whilst playing as the British as a "success".
I have not had it happen to me yet, I am getting further into my British campaign ( 1720 ) and have yet to see anything from the USA.
I'm playing as the British, but am only in the 1730s. Since the 13 Colonies begin as a Protectorate, you don't really have much direct control over their affairs unless you complete the mission for them to join you. I imagine that once the time frame for the American Revolution gets closer (1776, remember) there will be some sort of paradigm shift that forces you to make some choices on the matter of taxation.
I was talking to my mate over in Australia on Steam, and he mentioned passively that the USA had sprung up whilst he was in a bitter fight with the Cherokee.
The USA will never happen in my game.
*Sweeps american corpses under the rug*
Well, I was as wrong as could be I guess. That sort of sucks, really flies in the face of history.
Yes I had the US appear in the late 1720's early 1730s in my game
yes they rebelled in carolinas... too bad for them a fresh english fleet were just on their way to help their fellow colonists... and therfore they were gone after 2 turns... then after that the last 12 colonies joined me
If people isnt over the minimum standard of living... lower the standard..
if there is too much poverty in a sociaty, lower the poverty line... my qoutes... comment them if you will...
They emerged in 1704 in my GB campaign. I allied with them.
Anybody seen Richie? -Detective Gino Felino.
Yes, they didn't last long at all mind you...
They appeared in my campaign after the iroquois took Boston and Albany. The Thirteen colonies moved in and quickly retook them, and then they asked me to become the US. I said yes... and then proceeded to invade and slaughter them.
In my brother's campaign the USA appeared after 6 turns because Boston was lost or something.
In my campaign I am in 1770 and there is no sign of them
i think when they emerge, they need to emerge with several armies, otherwise they dont stand a chance.
When they emerged in my game, they only had 500 odd soliders. So they didnt last one turn... Nation destroyed.
Should be like in METW2 when a horde appears. American armies should appear everywhere in the colonies and try to take as much as the territory as possible
Up your taxes to max level. There you go, United States.
If you're treating the colonies right they have no reason to rebel.
