FAVOURITE MOORISH FORMATIONS,BATTLE STANCES AND UNITS

Whats your favourite battle plan for Moorish armies. Don't tell me lots of camel gunners and Christian Guards guys, we need some CREATIVITY and some traditional moorish armies where spears and light infantries makes up the bulk of the army.
And whats your favourite Moorish units, and how do you operate them effectively and efficiently? I will give you guys some of my tactics and views after we have a hearty discussion =P

wow Im liking this new Moorish theme to MTWcenter forums I actually came by them from my previous game as they were a strong easy faction in the original Medieval total war, but I think they are one of the most underestimated action in the game, when done right they can beat any faction, which is why they are a heavy favourite in my eyes, though I dont have a specific cation as I love playing as christian factions, the peopel can be annoying but I actually like it.

I am glad that you are liking this theme, Commander, and yes there are most underestimated faction in the game. I have read far too much threads and posts that criticises the Moors, such as "weak spearmen", "schiltrom is useless unless your defending in a castle"," lacks powerful archers" and late game tecnhology. There are to me, the most flexible and balanced faction, an average player would not draw tactical plans and strategies as Moors offers the advance players much much versatility with staying power when used correctly. Thats one reason I enjoyed playing the Moorish armies because their limit know no such bounds, as long as the player are creative. Numerically, the Moors have an advantage due to their light infantries that many generals seems to underestimate and scorn at(unfortunately) and their superior mobility when facing the western powers. I might even go on and make a comprehensive guide about the Moors(I have startled), not on campaign strategy(I think we have quite a few honourables ones in this forums already), but mainly on Moorish armies and their strategies if you guys think thats a good idea.(to access the true potential of Moorish power)
