    Default Some Tips Making Guides.

Ok, today I wanna share some experience with you making guides as I have make some before, where it is should not be mentioned because I can't bear with the controversies of it. But I have one in my sig. Well, fellow soldiers, I hope this helps. Although I don't play this game...... for now.

    1. Take Inspiration from others.
Surely you need it as begineers. Stop by the Scriptorium to check some. Of course, the more inspiration you take (As long as not very same...). The merrier your guide will be. Fellow British, we shall be victorius in our war against France. Just a joke fellas....

    2. Prepare your Materials.
Okay, prepare what material your guide will be, also look at the slightest bits of your idea. From the most obvious to the most oblivious. Even if it's small. Like a surfing guide. As long as you pay much details detailed greatly. You are getting good compliments everywhere. Because TWC is used by people worldwide. Like me, for example, an Indonesian.

    3. Screenshots please to detail things.

Of course, screenshots are very useful to say what you want to say. Take example like, say you are a lawyer, people thought A killed B. But that is not the truth and A is your defendant against C who frames A for the murder. Without proper evidence, you cannot win. But also, this is not as drastic as that. But hey, screenshots always shines. And we love visuals.

    4. Humour them to keep the fun.
To keep your readers interested in your guides and making them keep reading it in a reason other than simple strolling is this, at least one of it. Humouring the masses is one good merit, especially when not all people are able to provide us with a good, subtle humor. So, this is optional, but can have a good effect on it.

    5. Make it detailed as much as possible.
It may sound the same in terms of number 3. But.... the only thing different is text. Text is important, more important than screenshots by 33-44% margin in my book. Describe each pictures well, the feelings, the moments you have. The fun, et cetera et cetera.

    6. Don't listen to nehsayers and listen to advices and suggestions.

Hey, do not be offended too much by nasty comments, or else you flame your own threads. That is sorely not good for yourself and your guides. You clutter your own guide. But listen to the good guys, know who they are and who does not by veiling themselves up as one.

    7. Do not give up when you do not work as good as others.
When you feel belittled by other's guides, feel free to update your own guide, Just to keep the activity in check. But when you feel so don't clutter theirs. To make yours big, possibly a massive scale one. Only unwaivering loyalty to your topic is your help here.

    8. Make guides purely for fun and helping others.

Well, I do not make this for reps, I make this so I can help you, that if I manage to do. When you base reps your intentions you, Sir. Are sorely lacking a true base. A baseless base will crumble. And so a guide for reps will not be as popular as the ones purely for fun and helping others. And don't forget we, as librarians wanted to add only good and 'pure' guides. Make a good guide and we might be inclined to add yours.

    9. Finally......
Well, This, is the end of my guide to making guides. I hope you enjoyed it and learn something from it. Might make a poem for this. Moderators, move this somewhere if this place does not fit it.
    Okay, here's the poem :

    Take heart, young one
For I tell this as a fun
If you make an a building of bad infrastructure
It will crumble as all else will
Tell humour as I can say : Pray tell
And all else will answer the bell

    Smash! Smash! Smash!
Look at them all for the bash
Report the mindless and bring them to hell
Rather than answering them and be pummeled

    Think the tank of thinking
And two things with spring out
Look! They are screenshots and text!
Don't murder yourself if you fail
Because you can always improve again

    Details! Details! Details!
Look at the slightest bit of details
For only details are your only assess of success
    Look why people succeed
And take it as a seed of inspiration.

    Regards,
    Aster.
