    Default Early Era Trouble

    Hello all,
I was just wondering, when you start an early era campaign, do you eventually get the gunpowder event? Because upon checking the building browser, the only available units for my Polish Campaign go up to tHE "elite and powerful" spearmen unit. And i know for a fact, that there are tons of unique units for poland. If anybody could let me know before I continue that'd be great. Have a good one

tought i'd just check up in the game file
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    event historic gunpowder_discovered
    date 160 170
    movie event/gunpowder_invented.bik

so it happens 160-170 years after the start - thats 1240-1250

So when you discover the gunpowder, do you get more of the elite branch of units, ex: polish nights, polish retainers, hussars, mounted arquebusiers, feudal knights etc...

when you discover gunpowder you get gunpowder units ()
the other units you get when you build higher tier barracks/stables/ranges (unless you have real recruitment, then you get those units when some random events occur)

nope... as stated, you need other triggers for those...

as a extra note all the triggers for each and every unit is listen in the export_descr_buildings.txt file...

if, for example, I search for Longbowmen I will see that they may be built with the second archery building BUT the Mongol Invasion Warning must have been activated first...

If you have RR installed, you wont see all the units that you can recruit until the event that allows those units' recruitment is fired.
