... why is she doing Lady Gaga's hit single? Isn't the point of Eurovision songs to be original. o_O That aside, they're pretty bad. She's not a very good singer and the entire performance lacks spirit.
I have approximate answers and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I’m not absolutely sure of anything, and many things I don’t know anything about. But I don’t have to know an answer. I don’t feel frightened by not knowing.

I have no opinion on it, I must admit.

But what of the Ukrainian Eurovision entry from 2007?

It isn't a contest, but a cultural exchange of bad taste.

In view of our divine essence, we need only liberty and work; in view of our mortal nature, we need for our direction a guide and a support. A government is not then, as a distinguished economist has said, a necessary ulcer; it is rather the beneficent motive power of all social organisation.

Eurovision is always rubbish, for two main reasons.
One, I hate pop music - although this is a preference, and it won't apply to everyone.
Two, and much more importantly, the contest is never about the music (such as it is). It's always about paying dues to your neighbours.
