I'm a big reader, and I've read a lot in the 15 years I've existed.

However, I've been adamant in my "Never cry to books" legacy - I cry extremely easily to movies and even music, but never books.

    Until now, that is.

Lesson Before Dying, Ernest Gaines, you've done it.

Great read. I cried specifically at the chapter where it was Jefferson's journal.

I think you may have some deep-rooted emotional issues you may wish to address.

Besides, women love guys that show their emotions

Slaughterhouse 5 was hilarious! How could you cry because of it? Or were you crying with laughter?

    OP- are you a guy?

Slaughterhouse 5 is tragi-comedy with all of the humour directed at the horrifying hopelessness of the human condition. It's gallows-humour. Fine book, but I can see why someone might get emotional reading it.
