Texture error.
Actually it's the officer for the Swabian Swordsmen (RR/RC+SSTC), not all look like this, some are just "monsters". And yes it's a texture error, I have since fixed it by replacing him with a northern captain (this seems to be a very common issue with officers in SSTC, others are silver ghosts). Looks cool anyway, no?![]()
Ill admit, i chuckled. Those strange germans, they produce the oddest breed of officers of all the european armies !
Edit: and arm them with toy swords made out of random bits of cloth sewn together.
And does anybody knows how to fix that bug?? please tell...

Replace the offending officer with another (fitting) one, for information on how to do this, look in export_descr_unit, under the problem unit's "officer" entry.
Alternatively you could assign the HRE (or whatever faction's) officer a different countries texture.
