A question, does anyone knows what is the file i must open with textpad in empire total war , to mod the numbers of my soldiers? For example , the grenadiers are 80 men , i would like to make them 200 , were do i go ,wich is the file?

I think the files you are after are in C:/(installed folder)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Empire Total War/Data
Though they are in pack files, I'm trying to find a way to unpack them!

I load them with textpad, just the way they moded the DEMO

I would really like to know how to change the numbers of a particular Unit,
E.g the grenadiers are lower in numbers compared to the line infantry, how can i make the grenadiers the SAME numbers as line infantry?

Try looking for a file called export_descr_unit. At least that's what it was in previous TW games.
...and it's not there anymore, just like descr_strat etc.pp.
For editing individual unit numbers, you'll have to resort to hex editing right now. Take a look at this thread. That's the only way available right now. Good luck.![]()
